The deal between you and Posy, in plain language. By using Posy you’re agreeing to it.
The basics
Posy is made by ARJL Ltd. You need to be 13 or over to use it.
Your clip stays yours
You own what you record. By sending it, you give us permission to store it, prepare it (trim, check, caption) and put it into the film, and to show that film to the organiser, the person it’s for, and anyone they send it to. You also agree they may keep a copy of the film.
Being in someone’s posy
Only record people who are happy to be in it, and don’t include anything you don’t have the right to use. Keep it kind — Posy is for saying something good to someone.
If you organise a posy
You decide who is invited and who sees the film. Only add contact details for people who would expect to hear from you, and keep your manage link private — anyone with it can change your posy.
Downloads
Once the film has been downloaded we can’t recall that copy. Deleting a clip removes it from our copy and future versions of the film only.
Playing fair
Don’t use Posy to harass, impersonate or harm anyone, or for anything unlawful. We can remove content or posies that break these terms.
The service as it is
We work hard to keep Posy reliable, but it’s provided as it is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you’ve paid us. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited.
Paying
Contributors never pay. If organisers are ever charged for something, the price is shown before you pay.
Changes and law
We may update these terms as Posy grows; the date at the top tells you the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
