Drop it in the family group chat, or give each person their own. You’ll see who’s recorded, so you know who to nudge.

When you’re ready, every message becomes one film, with music and everyone’s name. It usually takes about 10 minutes.
What everyone records
Everyone taps the link and sees three ideas, if they’d like them:
- Say happy birthday to Dad
- A memory with Dad
- A wish for the year ahead
You can change them to anything you like. Each message is up to 20 seconds, or 10, 15 or 30 if you’d rather, and anyone can redo theirs as often as they like. If one comes out dark, quiet or sideways, we say so straight away, while there’s still time for another go.
For the big ones
A 40th, a 60th, a 90th: the birthdays where everyone wants to say something, and not everyone can be in the room. Old friends, cousins abroad, grandchildren with a grown-up’s help. One link reaches them all, and a film holds up to 60 messages.
What Dad gets
A link to watch the film, with everyone’s name on their message and each message on its own underneath. Send it free, or send the finished film: no watermark, full quality, and Dad can download it and keep it forever. Either way, you send the link yourself, when the moment’s right.
Questions people ask
Can I keep it a surprise?
Yes. Posy never contacts Dad. Everyone who records is asked to keep the link away from Dad, and the film’s link doesn’t play until you deliver it.
How many people can join?
One film holds up to 60 messages. Send one link to a group chat, or give each person their own.
What if someone misses the date?
The date is a guide. Messages still arrive until you deliver the film, and you can make it again to include them.
Can I watch it before I give it?
Yes. You see the film first, and you can leave any message out and make it again.
What does it cost?
Sending the film is free. The free film says “Made free with posy.video” on every message, plays in 720p and stays up for 3 months. The finished film — no watermark, full quality, yours to keep — is £24.99, or £14.99 for our first hundred. Friends never have to pay.
